Aims/Objectives:
Colchester YMCA is a Christian charity working to enable young people to grow to their full potential by participating in a supportive and inclusive community, through its Housing, Support, Foyer and other programmes.

Special Interests:
Colchester YMCA Foyer provides housing and activities for young people aged 16 to 25 in need of housing. A commitment to actively seeking training or employment is a condition of accommodation. Many of our activities are also available to young people in the wider community. Our aim is to provide young people with a stepping-stone to independence. All residents are supported in their personal development by the staff team through a process of individual support plans and progress reviews.
Activities at Colchester YMCA Foyer include:
Twice weekly drop-in for all young people aged 16 to 25
Young Deaf Club, for deaf and hard of hearing young people aged 16 to 25
Arts Workshops
Music Technology Workshops
Outer Limits: programme of physically challenging outdoor activities
Detached Youth Work Project, working with 13-19 age range
