Aims/Objectives:
Zinc is a dynamic and forward-looking professional arts organisations, specialising in the area of disability arts and social inclusion. Our work promotes the creativity, culture and heritage of disabled people and socially excluded groups, for the benefit of all. The activities and events we run are designed to open up 'pathways' into the arts for people who traditionally have the least opportunity to learn about, or take up employment in the creative industries. Zinc is currently expanding its existing centre to become the 'National Centre for Arts Access and Inclusion', due for completion in 2011. The new building will extend and enhance Zinc's commitment to artistic excellence and inclusive practice.
